Make your Scott Silven's Wonders experience spectaular onstage and off with our Stay, See and Save package. 

The package includes two Premium Reserve tickets, an overnight stay for two at QT Sydney, and a one hour guided Sydney Opera House tour for two. 

COVID-safe and event information

The health, safety and wellbeing of everyone at the Opera House is our priority. When you return to the Opera House, you will notice some important changes that have been implemented to keep the community safe, which are regularly reviewed and updated in consideration of the Public Health Order prevailing at the time. Please follow our conditions of entry at all times:

  • Face masks are strongly recommended for all patrons while inside our theatres and foyers, including during the performance. Please bring your own mask;
  • As you move around the Opera House, practise physical distancing (1.5 metres whenever possible) and follow the guidance provided by our staff and signage; and
  • Within venues, always take your allocated seat.

Please refer to our updated General Terms and Conditions for Tickets and Attendance at Events for detailed information about our ticketing policies. These conditions may change between the time of purchase and the event date. Ticketholders will be contacted directly regarding any changes to their event.

PACKAGE INCLUDES: 
  • Two Premium tickets to Scott Silven's Wonders (best available).
  • Two tickets for a 1- hour guided Sydney Opera House Tour. Tour commences at 4.15pm from The Lounge.
  • Overnight stay at QT Sydney in a Executive  Room with a King bed or Two Single Sized Beds for two.

Our Reservations team will be in contact to confirm your performance tickets, accommodation booking at QT Sydney and with the details of your voucher for your 1-hour Sydney Opera House Tour. 

Additional options for your overnight stay can be booked direct with QT Sydney. 

If you can no longer attend, please contact our Reservation team on 02 9250 7250 or tourism@sydneyoperahouse.com. No cancellation charges apply four days before your hotel check-in date. Cancellations must be provided by 5pm AEST. Beyond that time, the total price of the package will be charged.

Pricing conditions: 

  • Children Policy Accommodation are accessible for one child under the age of 12 staying in parents', or grandparents' room using existing bedding.
  • Any accompanying child under 12 years must purchase a performance or tour tickets.
  • Please contact the Opera House reservation team to book additional performance tickets or tour 02 9250 7250.
  • This is a Room only - breakfast is $30 per person and can be booked directly with QT Sydney.
  • Parking can be arranged with the hotel. Parking details: Self-park $40 per night, per vehicle  – 271 Pitt Street, Sydney and Valet Parking $80 per night, per vehicle.

Sales conditions:  

  • All reservations must be paid with a valid credit card unless otherwise specified. Executive Room, 1 King Size Bed or Executive Room, 2 Single Size Beds.  Maximum 3 person per room. 
  • All payments for Hotel charges and services during your stay will be processed via electronic payment at check-in. No cash payments will be allowed for any Hotel charges and services from 26 March 2020.
  • Cancellation Policy:  No cancellation charges apply seven days before the hotel check-in date; cancellations must be provided by 5pm (local time). Beyond that time, we will charge the total price of the package.
  • Non-arrival fee equivalent to the first nights' accommodation and booked packages.
  • Credit Card Transaction Fees: applied by QT Sydney. Payments by credit card will incur a transaction fee reflecting bank charges incurred by the hotel for card payments. Current fees are 1.08% of the transaction total for Visa, Mastercard, Diners, American Express and JCB Cards. Fees are subject to change and applicable fees will be confirmed on check in.
  • Payment by Cash and EFTPOS do not incur transaction fees.
  • Reservation Status - Your booking is confirmed. QT Sydney reserve the right to amend your booking in the event of a computer, website or system error which results in the display or communication of an incorrect room rate or other incorrect details relating to your booking. We will advise you as soon as possible in the event of such an error.
  • Credit Card Pre-Authorisation - QT Sydney pre-authorises all credit cards on the day of arrival to check for validity and sufficiency of funds. Pre-authorised cards are held as security for your reservations and may be utilised by the hotel for any applicable charges including cancellation and non-arrival fees. The pre-authorised amount is set aside by the credit card company and may affect the available funds balance or spending limit. Should you not be able to present a credit or debit card upon arrival a cash bond may be required.
  • No Smoking Policy: All rooms at QT Sydney are non-smoking, this includes the use of electronic cigarettes and vapes. 

Event duration and check-in/check-out times

  • Wonders is approximately 70 minutes, without an interval
  • The Sydney Opera House Tour is 1 hour
  • QT Sydney check-in time is 2pm with check out at 11am AEST

Note event duration is a guide only and may be subject to change. 

The performance is recommened for ages 12+

Children aged 12 years and under must be accompanied by an adult or guardian at all times. Children under the age of 12 are not required to wear a face mask.

All patrons, irrespective of age, must hold a valid ticket.

What safety measures have you implemented?

Nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of everyone on site, and we are closely following NSW Health guidelines and advice. The Sydney Opera House is registered as a COVID Safe business with the NSW Government. What am I required to do as an audience member?

Do I need to be vaccinated to visit the Sydney Opera House?

The Sydney Opera House no longer requires patrons to show that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

How are you managing contact tracing? 

Contact information is required when making a booking with us and upon arrival at the Opera House, as set out in our General Terms and Conditions for Tickets and Attendance at Events and our Customer Privacy Statement.

As the ticket purchaser, you are responsible for recording the contact details of your guests. Contact information will only be used for the purposes of contact tracing, if required, and will be deleted at least 28 days after your event.

What are the transport options to the Opera House?

You can catch public transport from QT Sydney by walking (2 minutes) to the Light Rail at OVB to Circular Quay (6 minutes) and enjoy a 10 minute walk to the Opera House. 

If you’re getting dropped off in a car, head to the roundabout at the bottom of Macquarie Street where staff will direct you to a safe place to pull over.

Can I add breakfast for my stay at QT Sydney?

If you fancy waking up and enjoying breakfast at QT Sydney's Gowlings Bar & Grill, you can add this to your stay at check-in for an additional $30 per person. 

What should I wear?

So long as you’re wearing shoes and a shirt, whatever you like. We’re pretty informal here at the Opera House. There’s no real dress code for tours, so you’ll fit right in with casual attire. 

You’ll be on your feet for a guided tour, so flat comfortable shoes are recommended. Your feet will thank you! 

Will there be bag checks, and is cloaking available?

In accordance with our venue security procedures, Opera House security will be scanning and checking bags under the Monumental Stairs, prior to entering the building. Bags will be scanned by an x-ray machine, and staff will wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling your belongings, such as gloves. Cloaking facilities will be open 60 minutes pre-show for Joan Sutherland Theatre performances, and 60 minutes pre-show for Western Foyer venue performances. However it is strongly encouraged that you travel lightly to minimise contact and queuing. Any bags larger than an A4 piece of paper will need to be checked into the Cloak Room.

On the tour, cameras are allowed and there are plenty of photo opportunities throughout the entire tour. Your tour guide will advise you whilst on tour if photographs are not to be taken inside any venues. Please note there is no video filming on the tour.

Mobile phones are permitted on the tour however please ensure they are switched off or on silent for the duration of the tour.

Will we go inside all the theatres on the tour?

You will have the opportunity to visit some of the Opera House’s many venues and theatres on this tour.

Please note that as we are a busy performing arts centre, venues and theatres are subject to availability at the time of your tour. 

The Concert Hall is currently closed for renewal works to improve theatre machinery, acoustics and accessibility.

Where can I eat nearby at the Opera House?

Foyers will be open 60 minutes pre-show for Joan Sutherland Theatre performances, and two hours pre-show for Western Foyer venue performances. Refreshments will be available for purchase from our theatre bars.

The venue doors will be open 45 minutes pre-show for Joan Sutherland Theatre performances, and 30 minutes pre-show for Western Foyer venue performances.

Please bring a credit or debit card for any on site purchases to enable contactless payment. You’re welcome to bring your own water bottle but no other food and drinks are permitted inside our venues.

Will the building works at the Opera House affect the tour?

You'll notice that Sydney Opera House has building works underway around the precinct. These works will not impact your visit, it's business as usual!

Do ensure that you arrive at the Sydney Opera House at least 15 minutes before your tour to allow sufficient time to cloak any bags and personal belongings.
