Clementine FordI want a world where women are celebrated for who we are, not for who we’re sleeping next to at night.
Place yourself at the centre of your story
Leave it to Clementine Ford to take a book that dissects the patriarchal history of marriage in forensic detail and turn it into an hour of incendiary critique, acerbic wit, drama, comedy, music, and even magic. Based on her latest book, I Don’t: The Case Against Marriage, in “Play the Girl”, Ford makes the case against a world that teaches women that marriage is the only way to find fulfillment, and gives us a beautiful, imploring reminder that you, dear audience, get to place yourself at the centre of your story.
It’s never too late to find that little girl inside you. The one who dreamed of one day being the main event. It’s time to make that dream come true. Featuring Tiaryn, who joins Ford on vocals and piano.
