Meet the cast and creatives
Janick Kremer studied Contemporary Circus at Codarts in Rotterdam (NL), where he specialized in partner acrobatics and partnering dance. With a movement background in the Martial Arts Shinson Hapkido, Janick is an acrobat who enjoys to bring movement into the art of lifting. With their show Kaleiding by Lily&Janick and the show Be Kind by Emilie Weisse Circustheater he is touring throughout europe and beyond since 2022.
Lily Schlinker is a performing and visual artist from Berlin. She graduated Codarts (NL) with a Bachelor in Contemporary Circus in 2022 and is touring with her company Lily&Janick and Emilie Weisse Circustheater ever since. Publishing is her other passion. She is working as an editor and graphic designer, always curious to bring circus in new contexts. Most recently Lily published her photography book ARCHES.
About Emilie Weisse Circustheater
Emilie Weisse Circustheater is a company born in 2021 amid the global pandemic.
The company has made its first steps with a baby circustheater experience called Be Kind. An original performance based on scientific research, which aims to emotionally reach babies, their parents/care givers and artists. A perfect first project to express the creativity and originality of the company.
The company doesn’t limit themselves in one genre, one audience, one style. All doors are open to developing original concepts. Emilie Weisse as artistic director wants to touch upon the subjects that truly matter to her as a woman, as a dancer and as a circus artist.
