The Sydney Opera House is generally open daily from 9am to 5pm for visitors. The Welcome Centre is open from 8:45am to 5pm, while the Box Office remains open until 5pm or later for performances. Tours run daily with varying times (usually 10:30am to 2pm), but are closed on Christmas Day and select other days.

Items handed into our Lost Property department are recorded and registered. If you have lost something within the Sydney Opera House precinct, please complete this form and Sydney Opera House will make every effort to locate your lost item. We will response to your enquiry as soon as possible.
The Communications Team can provide information about Sydney Opera House performances, events and corporate matters, and tourism and visitor experience.
