Tinker Play!
Ages 6+ (Children under 15 years to be accompanied by an adult)

Kids can discover their inner tinkerer in a room full of interesting bits and pieces to play with and have a tinker with! The Centre for Creativity will be transformed into the “Centre for Tinkering” to celebrate the Wild Things performance Tinker Tales!

Before or after the performance, try your hand at something new as you build, twist, prod, poke, screw, connect and problem-solve your way through a variety of self-led tinkering stations.

Only available with a ticket to Tinker Tales! performance. Limited availability.

Create a piece of dark
All ages

Whether you are heading to see the Wild Things performance ZOOOM or exploring the festival, stop by the Western Foyer and fold your own shape or shadow as you imagine what the dark might look like when we create it with our own hands.

If you are coming to see ZOOOM, Patch Theatre invites children to “bring a piece of dark” with them to the performance. As you enter the theatre, your dark is exchanged for their own personal light, a small spark that will keep you safe and guide you through the interactive performance.

Otherwise, take your piece of dark home. Just don’t leave it under the bed!
