An adventure through Antarctica and the cosmos told through puppetry, shadow and light

South Korea

In Antarctica, where white nights have arrived, Ann searches for meteorites. In a vast world of ice and light, she encounters unexpected creatures – penguins, skuas and others along the way – and begins to wonder what truly matters.

Through puppetry, shadow play and constellations of light projected across a white sky, the stage transforms into a living, breathing universe. As Ann's journey unfolds, the striking Antarctic landscape becomes a backdrop for something deeper – a gentle exploration of connection, change and our place in the world.

About Trunk Theatre Project

Trunk Theatre Project creates performances that can unfold in any space, using a compact stage that fits inside a trunk. Through puppets and objects, they create a distinctive aesthetic and rhythm, offering audiences unique spatial and theatrical experiences.

Their work discovers everydayness in the extraordinary — exploring settings as vast as Antarctica, deserts, outer space and aquariums through intimate, small-scale storytelling. Based in Korea, the company performs nationally and internationally, continually pushing the boundaries of their creative work.
