A new program to support children’s creative voices

Got ideas? Big ones? Weird ones? Brilliant ones? Good. We want to hear them.

For kids aged 8–12 who like dreaming, making and imagining.

In this drop off interactive workshop, artist and comedian Matt Kelly (The Listies) will help you to explain, explore and EXPLODE your ideas. Through drawing, games and storytelling. Your imaginings don't just get heard, they get built on, developed and taken seriously.

You’ll step into the role of thinkers, shapers, makers and story-builders (and anything else you feel like being) as we explore how new creative experiences for kids and young audiences can be made.

This is a first-time opportunity to get inside the ideas behind new artistic projects at Sydney Opera House and help shape what gets made next. You’ll also be part of a video for our new international kids festival, to ask more kids what ideas big and little, they want to see at Sydney Opera House.

Maybe you are a budding programmer, producer or artist…?

So... what would you create if you were in charge?
