Alternative rock icons play their biggest albums at the House

Three nights. Their most adored albums. British alt-rock pioneers Suede return for their first Australian shows in a quarter-century, exclusively at the House.

Suede’s breakout success catalysed the 90s Britpop revolution. Their self-titled debut Suede (1993) became the fastest-selling debut album in nearly a decade and won the Mercury Prize. Their second and third albums, Dog Man Star (1994) and Coming Up (1996), have been hailed as some of the best alt rock albums in British music history.

A break-up, make-up, seven more albums and a few decades later, Suede are bringing those three formative albums to the Sydney Opera House in an Australian exclusive. Over three nights, they'll perform each one in full, along with a second set of classics taken from recent albums including Autofiction (2022) and Mercury Prize-nominated Antidepressants (2025).

Led by charismatic frontman Brett Anderson, Suede have been described as “the most visceral live act on the planet today” (The Standard). For Suedeheads, British alt-rock lovers, and anyone seeking an electric live music experience, this special run in the Concert Hall can’t be missed.
