Followed by a post-screening Q&A.

Join us for the next screening in our regular Saturday Film Club, pairing a contemporary classic with an in-depth discussion featuring Alexei Toliopoulos and a special guest.

For our Hellhouse season, Alexei has selected Frank Oz’s classic horror comedy musical Little Shop of Horrors, featuring an all-star cast including Rick Moranis, John Candy, Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Miriam Margolyes and more.

Seymour Krelborn is a nerdy orphan working at Mushnik’s, a flower shop in urban Skid Row. He harbours a crush on fellow co-worker Audrey Fulquard, and is berated by Mr. Mushnik daily. One day Seymour finds a very mysterious unidentified plant which he calls Audrey II. The plant seems to have a craving for blood and soon begins to sing for his supper.
