Support creative learning Liverpool Boys High School

We visited an Architecture Unboxed workshop to hear from students at Liverpool Boys High School and see the incredible architectural models they created.

Inspired by the imagination and design principles of Jørn Utzon, students designed and built their own architectural models. One student said, “I didn’t think I could make something spectacular like this,” while another shared, “It makes me feel like I could be an architect and design buildings like the Opera House one day.”

The students attended through the Arts Assist program, which is funded entirely by our donor community. It provides students from under-resourced and remote schools with free tickets, transport and access to inspiring performances and creative learning experiences at the Sydney Opera House.

“Sydney Opera House has played a central role in how our students experience the performing arts and access incredible Australian artists. In a school where many families live on or below the poverty line, opportunities like this are often only possible through subsidised programs.”
