A brand new space inside the Opera House to relax before or after a show

Our newest venue, The Lounge has been created in collaboration with Principal Partner Samsung. It’s a place for visitors to relax, eat, drink and learn more about the Opera House, its Resident Companies and our Renewal projects through the latest innovative Samsung technology.

Relax with new comfortable lobby-style seating whilst enjoying a café-style menu by day and a pre-theatre offering of light, supper-style food by night. Experience what it's like to stand atop the Opera House's sails with Samsung Gear VR. Explore 50 online exhibits via the Google Cultural Institute that tell the story of the Opera House's past, present and future with Samsung Galaxy View and Galaxy Tab S2 tablets.

Trippas White Group, who also manage Portside Sydney, is the experienced team behind the food and beverage service, so you can expect high quality service and a fantastic menu developed specially for this brand new space.
