London’s breakout R&B sensation makes her Australian debut

It all blew up with a kiss. On Valentine’s Day 2025, UK singer, songwriter and producer kwn – pronounced ‘kay-wuhn’ – locked lips with R&B superstar Kehlani in the music video for her single worst behaviour, sending social media into a breathless frenzy. Now, with a whole new musical era on the horizon, the breakout artist is set to make her highly anticipated Australian debut at Vivid LIVE, playing the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall for one night only.

Raised in the East London suburb of Walthamstow, kwn grew up around music, inspired both by the eclectic tastes of her Nigerian DJ father and the pop, R&B, house and UK garage of her formative years. She dropped her debut EP episode wn in 2022, followed by a clutch of singles in 2023, building momentum with 2024’s eyes wide open, a guest feature on Kehlani’s Clothes Off and an opening spot on the superstar’s Crash tour. Lit by the viral breakthrough of worst behaviour, kwn’s debut album with all due respect, a stunning reimagining of modern R&B featuring the hits back of the club and do what i say, put the singer into overdrive, earning her Billboard’s R&B Rookie of the Month and landing her on NME’s Essential Emerging Artists list for 2025. Her new single hopeless romantic, laced with synths and rock guitar, suggests an electric new era is about to begin. Here’s your chance to get a front-row seat to the rise of an R&B icon.
