Widely regarded as David Lynch's greatest film, Mulholland Drive finds Naomi Watts as an aspiring actress in the City of Angels who befriends a strange woman battling amnesia after a car crash. Together they set out to uncover the mysterious strangers’ identity in a reality-defying cinematic masterpiece.

As brilliant and disquieting as anything Lynch has ever done.

Celebrating the legacy of the visionary filmmaker David Lynch

David Lynch’s Cannes-winning 2001 masterpiece was described by the director as “a love story set in the city of dreams”. Delighting and confounding audiences in equal measure, the film is often cited as the pinnacle of Lynch’s career and was ranked #1 in the BBC's 100 Greatest Films of the 21st Century.

Blonde Betty Elms (Naomi Watts) has only just arrived in Hollywood to become a movie star when she meets an enigmatic brunette with amnesia (Laura Harring). Meanwhile, as the two set off to solve the second woman’s identity, filmmaker Adam Kesher (Justin Theroux) runs into ominous trouble while casting his latest project.

David Lynch’s seductive and scary vision of Los Angeles’s dream factory is one of the true masterpieces of the new millennium, a tale of love, jealousy, and revenge like no other.
