Useful information:

Virtuosity, power and personality at the piano

Australian based piano virtuoso Konstantin Shamray burst onto the music scene in 2008 when he became the first pianist to win both First Prize and the People’s Choice award at the Sydney International Piano Competition – as well as six other prizes. Now with a busy career as an internationally touring concert pianist, he remains an audience favourite in Australia for the virtuosity, power and personality he brings to each performance.

Shamray performed as part of the Utzon Music Series in 2019 with Australian soprano Alexandra Flood, but he returns this year for an exhilarating recital of brilliant solo piano repertoire.
