Indie rock’s most talked-about rock band hits the Forecourt

After a breakout year on the road behind Getting Killed, Geese will return to Australia hitting the Forecourt for one massive night.

The run builds on the band’s Australian headline debut in February, when feverishly sold-out underplays and a Laneway Festival run introduced a cult act to a much wider audience. The year since has been a steep climb. In February, Geese took out International Group at the BRIT Awards, beating HAIM, Tame Impala, Turnstile and HUNTR/X. They made their Saturday Night Live debut – Cameron Winter even featured as the subject of a skit – played on NPR’s Tiny Desk, and sold out Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom and London’s Troxy. Earlier this month, Geese played their biggest hometown headline shows yet at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York.

Getting Killed, released in September 2025 through Partisan Records, is the reason. A restless, fractious record that moves between tenderness and fury was named Best New Music by Pitchfork at 9.0. Consequence called it “one of the most creative indie rock records of the 2020s,” and brought the hype around the group to an absolute fever pitch. Geese would be considered the reason for young audiences discovering bands again and asserted that the kids were alright. Critical acclaim followed at every turn, topping year-end lists at the New York Times, Time, The New Yorker, and placing fifth on Rolling Stone.

Winter bewitched fans in 2026 with a stripped-back Concert Hall performance – and now he returns with the full band on the Forecourt.

With a sound and energy that teeters between aching tenderness and boiling-over fury, Geese’s live performances are nothing short of transcendent in their emotional resonance.

Event details

Geese’s music feels both historically literate and viscerally of the moment. Sometimes, just sometimes, the hype is justified.

It’s lost on no one that this is one of those “I was there” shows, the time for the most talked about band on the planet to show you what it’s really all about.
