SWIM to debut live orchestral show at Sydney Opera House

ARIA-chart-topping electronic producer SWIM will return home this June for a landmark performance: a one-night-only live show at Sydney Opera House on Friday, June 5 accompanied by a 12-piece string orchestra.

The performance marks a bold new chapter for one of Australia’s most compelling emerging electronic artists, in which SWIM pairs his emotive electronica with sweeping orchestral accompaniment and presents his catalogue in a way audiences have never heard before on one of the world’s most iconic stages.

SWIM, also known as Hamish Lefevre, says:

“It’s a huge honour to be performing at the Sydney Opera House and seriously something I could’ve never imagined growing up in Australia. Getting to bring my music to life and perform alongside a string orchestra is a show I've always dreamt of doing.”

In just four years, SWIM has risen become a defining voice in the new wave of dance music. With more than 50 releases to his name and extensive tours across Europe, the UK and the USA, SWIM has cemented his reputation as a breakout star.

This orchestral debut at the Sydney Opera House is set to be a special moment — a collision of underground energy and grand-scale musicality, performed once, in one of the world’s most revered concert halls.
