Explore a magical medley of nature and music in this relaxed and playful opera for babies and grown-ups. Direct from the United Kingdom, and for the first time in Australia, You are the Sun combines the joy of gentle classical singing and sensory play. It is an invitation to see beauty in the smallest things and to let plants be our guides.

This special performance celebrates the gift of nature as the artists conjure a world out of breath, water, sunlight and soil in this magical musical adventure for ages 0 – 2. Babies are free to be themselves and grown-ups have a chance to relax, bond and play.

This enchanting musical tale follows Peter, a young boy who sets out into the deep forest to catch a wolf. Peter, his grandfather and their animal friends are brought to life by their own instrument, and students will hear the ingenious ways that Prokofiev tells this story through the unique sounds of orchestral instruments.
