Sydney Opera House Presents Generations and Dynasties
The Sydney Opera House today announced the inaugural series of Generations and Dynasties, an intimate showcase of the diversity of musical talent within three esteemed First Nations families. Across three special evenings of conversation, storytelling, and song, the Jarrett father and sons (24 April), Briscoe mothers and daughters (1 May) and Cassar-Daley father/daughter duo (9 May) will celebrate the important role of family and community in First Nations artistry.
Benjamin Millepied’s Romeo & Juliet Suite
Navigating seamlessly between the conventions of cinema, dance and theatre, Benjamin Millepied’s Romeo & Juliet Suite will make its Australian premiere in an exclusive season at the Sydney Opera House from 5 – 9 June, 2024. Marking his Australian debut with this work, Millepied brings his reimagining of Shakespeare’s timeless story and Prokofiev’s classical masterpiece to the Joan Sutherland Theatre and beyond.

The Centre for Creativity’s 2024 Autumn Program Announced
The Sydney Opera House today announced a huge autumn line-up of 18 performances and participatory events that will take place in the Centre for Creativity from March – June. The program features a mix of free and paid activities for all ages, with brand new experiences and the return of regular favourites, including song writing, shadow puppetry, cultural dance workshops and a new multi-sensory theatre show for babies.
All About Women 2024 line-up announced
The Sydney Opera House today announced an extraordinary line-up of 24 events featuring more than 40 international and Australian artists, thinkers and storytellers for the 12th annual All About Women festival. Taking place on Sunday 10 March 2024, the centrepiece talks event returns in-person and online to explore big ideas important to women, gender diverse people and their allies through conversations, panels and workshops.
