Meet the ensemble
Bettie Bombshell is undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with in the world of burlesque and sideshow. Her accolades include being ranked the #1 most influential burlesque performer in Australia (2023 & 2024) and one of the most influential burlesque performers worldwide (2020–2024) by 21st Century Burlesque Magazine. She has also won the title of Miss Burlesque Australia, headlined the 2024 Hebden Bridge and Stockholm Burlesque Festivals, and performed at the Olympics of burlesque – The Burlesque Hall of Fame (2016–2023).
Florian, gentleman juggler par excellence, has charmed audiences in manifold settings of splendour and champagne. After performing for Monaco's royalty, Singapore's elite and Vegas’ high-rollers, he blithely juggles his way in to surprise you with an elegant, nonchalant and inventive performance.
Florian displays the kind of juggling that catches the imagination even of those who disdain the thought of witnessing any legerdemain at all. With his casual demeanour, consider him the Fred Astaire of juggling—the one who made it all look so easy.
Originally from Calgary, Canada, Spencer began his journey with his hometown youth circus at the age of 8. He spent his childhood years training in hand balancing and juggling before discovering his love for aerial acrobatics. He has since travelled the world performing his aerial numbers with Cirque du Soleil, GOP Varieté, Circus Oh La La, Cavalia, Strut & Fret and Dracula’s Cabaret. His duo hoop act with aerial partner Caitlin Tomson-Moylan has been awarded multiple medals at the International Circus Festivals of Italy, China and the USA.
Tommy J. Egan is an acclaimed tap dancer, choreographer and creative collaborator. As a co-creator of the internationally celebrated show The Tap Pack, Thomas has toured stages across the globe – from the USA, Berlin and London’s West End to the Sydney Opera House.
His diverse career spans theatre, film and television, with credits including Tap Dogs, Fame the Musical, The Great Gatsby, Singin’ in the Rain, and performances alongside Kylie Minogue, X-Factor and Australia’s Got Talent.
With a deep respect for tap dance traditions and a sharp contemporary edge, Thomas recently stepped into the spotlight with his award-winning solo show Two Right Feet.
Oscar Kaufmann is an internationally sought-after circus artist who captivates audiences with a unique blend of strength, elegance and artistic expression.
Born and raised in Berlin, he discovered his passion for performing at an early age. After intensive training at the State School of Circus Arts in Berlin, which he completed with top marks in 2014, his remarkable career began. With spectacular performances on the Cyr wheel, aerial straps and his self-created act The Flying Gentleman, Oscar has performed in over 30 countries. He has appeared as a solo artist for Cirque du Soleil, thrilled audiences at the Sydney Opera House and performed in renowned theatres like the Wintergarten Berlin.
Jacob has worked in the national and international entertainment realm as a professional dancer, choreographer and acrobat for the last 7 years, within that time also graduating in early 2022 from Lee Academy’s full-time courses on the Central Coast with an Advanced Diploma of Dance (Elite Performance) and Diploma in Musical Theatre.
Amid dance training, choreographing and performing, Jacob has trained in various acrobatic and aerial arts such as floor tumbling, aerial straps, hand balancing and advanced adagio partnering.
Mariia made her Australian debut as a lead dancer and acrobat on Australia’s Got Talent in 2022, earning a Golden Buzzer and a place in the Semi-Final.
Her most recent professional engagement was a featured role in L’Hotel at The Foundry Theatre in Sydney, performing as part of the acrobatic adagio duo The Bathtub Adagio as well as serving as the understudy aerial soloist.
Miranda Menzies grew up in Edinburgh, Scotland and has since become an international creative. Just returning from Japan, Miranda has spun across Europe, London’s West End, the Middle East and America. Having trained in acting and physical theatre, she now performs her unique lyrical style of aerial contortion, specialising in the ancient art of hair suspension.
Based in Sydney, Australia, Georgia Sallybanks aka “Odette” is an English-born singer-songwriter whose soulful and smart pop songs have earned critical acclaim as well as chart success in her adopted country.
The unique blend of confessional piano-led balladry and spoken-word poetry on her 2018 debut To a Stranger helped pave the way for 2021's more experimental Herald.
Georgia has continued to achieve success after success. Her singles Collide, Take It To The Heart and Lights Out have all received Gold Certification in Australia. She has been nominated in total for four ARIA Awards including Breakthrough Artist, and she was also nominated for the Australian Music Prize.
Born in St. Paul, USA, Caitlin has been flying through the air since the age of 11, when she joined her hometown youth circus. Now an internationally acclaimed aerial artist, director and acrobatic designer, she is celebrated for her emotionally resonant performances that draw on her background in music and dance as well as her distinctive approach to aerial choreography and apparatus. Over the past decade, she has performed around the world with companies including Cirque du Soleil, Cavalia, Circus Roncalli, Circus Ohlala, Strut & Fret and Dracula’s.
