Let your spirits soar with Sibelius’s glorious Fifth Symphony, alongside Tchaikovsky’s sublime Violin Concerto and Elena Kats Chernin’s magical Wild Swans, led by Finnish conductor Eva Ollikainen in her Sydney debut

Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto makes for spectacular introduction to the ‘ardent and intense violin mastery’ (Auditorium) of Inmo Yang. From gorgeous melodies to deep melancholy, you’ll be drawn into the magic of Tchaikovsky’s sound.

Perhaps the most beloved Australian composition ever written, Elena Kats-Chernin’s Wild Swans opens in a flash of colour and whimsy.

Sibelius’s Fifth Symphony is gloriously his own. Expansive. Weightless. Unfolding without hurry. Led by the ‘powerhouse’ (LA Times) Finnish conductor Eva Ollikainen, the music of her countryman comes alive with striking expertise.
