Join us for a night of laughter and insight into humanity as Golden Globe® and Emmy Award® winning actress and comedian Amy Poehler steps inside the Sydney Opera House for this special Vivid Ideas event.
Poehler, who is one of Hollywood’s most versatile and sought-after talents, with credits including actress, writer, director, producer, and bestselling author, will front Vivid Sydney Presents - In Conversation with Amy Poehler plus a special first look at Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out 2. The event will be moderated by leading broadcaster Zan Rowe.
Appearing for the first time in Sydney since 2015, Poehler’s not-to-be-missed In Conversation will be preceded by an exclusive 30-minute look of select scenes from the highly anticipated Inside Out 2, the sequel to Disney and Pixar’s Academy Award® winning and critically acclaimed Inside Out (2015), which sees Poehler once again voice the role of Joy.
This second journey into human emotions delves into more complex territory as our beloved protagonist Riley enters her teenage years. A brilliant reminder that animation can teach people of all ages something profound about what it means to be human.
Join us as we welcome Amy to Sydney, explore her unique mind and experience a full spectrum of emotion with Inside Out 2 exclusively for Vivid Sydney.
Following the In Conversation, Disney and Pixar will celebrate this years’ festival theme of “Humanity” and showcase a bespoke Inside Out 2 light projection on Customs House.
