Give the bullhorn to slam champions from Mumbai, Bali, and Australia. The crowd crowns a new champion – a whispering truthsayer raging for a meaningful life – the 2025 Australian Poetry Slam-bassador.

Who inspires you to change? To care? To jump in and scream for the pure rush?
Storytellers, lyricists and POETS!

Two slam champions from every state and territory slam their poetry. Whittled down from heats in tiny towns and metro centres, the crowd now crowns our nation’s next 2025 Australian Poetry Slam (APS) Champion.

Listen, snap, cheer, burst into tears or laughter – as the audience decides who gets a prize pack worth up to $20k in gigs, publication, and international touring.

Slam stars from Bali and Mumbai fly in to take the mic; mixing verses with APS alumni and a live DJ.

Ready to call a new election? Let the POETS RUN THIS!

Elect the 2025 Australian Poetry Slam-bassador.
