Bottomless Brunch at Portside

Your weekend brunch plans have jumped to the next level with full frontal Harbour Bridge views and a delicious new breakfast menu at Portside Sydney.

Opening for breakfast for the first time from 26 October, grab your brunch crew and try the roast mushroom and parmesan bruschetta, smoked barramundi bowl, or a crowd favourite — shakshouka.

A two act gin inspired by the Opera House

To celebrate the beauty and creativity of the Opera House, we’ve collaborated with Archie Rose Distilling Co. to create a two act gin release. This twin release brings to life the external splendour and natural surrounds of the Sydney Opera House, alongside the creative energy experienced on our stages.

You can enjoy the gins at our bars and restaurants, so make sure you come down to enjoy some signature cocktails at Opera KitchenPortside and Theatre Bars.

The House Lunch at Bennelong

To celebrate the arrival of Spring, Bennelong is now open for lunch on Thursdays.

To mark the extra lunch service, Executive Chef Peter Gilmore and Head Chef Rob Cockerill have curated a special lunch menu, aptly named ‘The House Lunch’. The House Lunch will offer a choice of two options over a two ($85 per person) or three course menu ($100 per person). This special offer will be available on Thursday and Friday lunch only and run until 30 December.

The House Lunch menu will change regularly and feature dishes such as sashimi of yellowfin tuna, cultured cream, dashi grains, laver & roe and crisp confit duck kumquat & kampot pepper marmalade, black fungi, umeboshi. Dessert options includes Peter Gilmore’s new trifle made with salted caramel, prune jam & pecans and Lagavulin whisky ice cream.

The House Lunch menu available Thursday and Friday only, in addition to the Cured & Cultured menu, and Restaurant a la carte menu. Bennelong Bar will also be open for guests to walk on in from 12pm.

Sunset Hour at Opera Bar

There’s nothing quite like watching the sunset over the harbour drink in hand with some great company, but $9 Pints and $10 Spritzes make it even better!

Get your out of office set and head on down to Opera Bar for a round (or two) with your colleagues.

Great bands and drink specials kick off from 5:30pm every weekday –  and with some of Sydney’s best musicians gracing the stage, you can’t go wrong. 

Still not enough? On Fridays the entertainment starts at 4:00pm, so come early for some good vibes and to grab yourself a great spot before the rush!

Offer includes ALL beer & cider pints, Aperol Spritz or Opera Bar Rosé Spritz. From 5pm - 6pm, Monday to Friday only.

New Year's Eve at Bennelong

Bennelong will host an unforgettable New Year’s Eve dinner celebration from beneath the sails of the Sydney Opera House. The evening will celebrate the very best of Australian produce and wines whilst offering front row seats to the main event: fireworks off the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The evening includes entertainment, Champagne and canapés on arrival, five course menu with matched wines, and glass of Champagne to ring in 2020.

$1,690 per person

Champagne and canapés, five course menu, matched wines & Champagne at midnight.
