Moves in the Game is a three-hour workshop introduction to the working methods of Forced Entertainment led by founding member, Richard Lowdon

Looking at game structures as a way of devising theatre, the session will centre around group work, creating non-narrative material in terms of choreography and text, via improvisation, talking and watching. Game structures lie at the very heart of Forced Entertainment’s improvisational approach, providing a framework within which individual impulses can resonate with the rest of the group in an unfolding sequence of moves, offers and counter-offers.

This workshop is suitable for emerging, mid and senior level artists. No particular skills are required apart from the desire to be here right now in the room and to see what unfolds. Please bring comfortable clothes, water and a sense of fun.
