Memory. Presence. Possibility.

Grounded in wisdom of the past and charged by voices of the future, GENERATIONS is a bold new double bill curated by Frances Rings, Bangarra’s Artistic Director and Co-CEO.

Bringing together First Nations cultural leaders Douglas Djakapurra Munyarryun and Josephine Mick, with acclaimed artists Rikki Mason and Jasmin Sheppard, this is a unique dance theatre experience where sacred knowledge and contemporary ideas converge in movement.

GENERATIONS reminds us that the future is not out there waiting to be found – it is already moving within us. Ancestral knowledge is awakened by the voices of the future, shaping a vision for what comes next: alive, evolving and ready to be danced into being.
