Daring acrobatics meets soaring classical music

In LOUDER, the joy of a live orchestra meets the thrill of bodies in motion. The result? An uplifting celebration of two art forms that are more similar than you think.

Gravity & Other Myths, one of Australia’s most acclaimed circus companies, bring their high-flying acrobatics to the stage in collaboration with the Brandenburger Symphoniker. With music performed by The Metropolitan Orchestra, one of the most versatile ensembles in the country.

As they come together, acrobats pull off gravity-defying stunts in time to conductor Sarah-Grace Williams’ baton, soundtracked by Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 in F major and newly composed works.

Joyful, physical and full of feeling. LOUDER is an all-ages event that lets you experience classical music with your whole body. Whether you’re a fan of circus, classical or both.

Thank you to our Idealist donors, Professor Ross Steele AM and The Skrzynski Foundation for their support of New Work Now commissions at the Sydney Opera House.

Presented by Sydney Opera House, created by Gravity & Other Myths in collaboration with the Brandenburger Symphoniker and co-produced by Brandenburger Theater and Chamäleon Berlin
