An electrifying concert fusing classical music and circus

Amplifying refugee voices through powerful works by Chloé Charody, featuring a daring acrobatic violinist in a boundary-shattering, emotionally charged, unforgettable experience.

This transformative concert seamlessly fuses classical music and circus into a single, spellbinding genre, illuminating refugee experiences and amplifying voices that have been silenced by suffering and injustice.

The program features three new works by Australian composer Chloé Charody. Truth in the Cage, a haunting song cycle which offers a raw and moving testament to lives lost and stories unheard.

Following this is the renowned violin sonata LIMBO, a daring and visceral work that merges classical music and circus with extraordinary artistry. In the second half of this programme will be the premiere of two brand new works.

Acrobatic violinist Sonja Schebeck, acrobat Joshua Frazer, acrobatic soprano Caitlin Redding and pianist Ying Ho unite in a performance where sound and spectacle become one. Together, these works create an unforgettable artistic journey that shatters boundaries and speaks to the depths of the human spirit.
