From sold out arena performances across Europe, the celebrated Dire Straits Experience bring their Long Highway World Tour to Australia this August

Assembled by Dire Straits veteran Chris White this world class ensemble reignites the greatest hits from Mark Knopfler's platinum catalogue with breathtaking skill and showmanship.

Money for Nothing, Walk of Life, So Far Away, Brothers in Arms, Sultans of Swing, Romeo and Juliet, Tunnel of Love, Telegraph Road, Private Investigations …and much more… in a two-hour show with full concert production.

The seven-piece ensemble are from the highest echelons of the international touring circuit, with combined experience spanning amongst others, Mark Knopfler, Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, Elton John, George Michael, The Killers, Mick Jagger, Tina Turner and Midge Ure.

Getting to the venue

The Opera House is a 7-10 minute walk from Circular Quay, and is easily accessible by car, train, ferry, lightrail, bus, bike and on foot.

Location and access

Concert Hall

The Concert Hall is located beneath the largest of Sydney Opera House’s roof sails, filling the upper levels of the west side of the building. Best accessed through the covered concourse. 

All Sydney Opera House foyers are accessible, with lifts to the main and western foyers. The public lift to all foyers is accessible from the corridor near the escalators on the Lower Concourse and also in the Western Foyer via the corridor on the Ground Level (at the top of the escalators).
