Indie rock’s most talked-about band hits the Forecourt

If there’s one contemporary rock act in high demand right now, it’s Geese. Off the back of a massive breakout year and Cameron Winter’s spellbinding, stripped back Concert Hall performance in February, he’s returning to the Forecourt with the full band for two nights.

The New York band’s popularity skyrocketed in 2025 thanks to the bizarre brilliance of their third album, Getting Killed. It topped year-end lists at the New York Times, Time, and The New Yorker and earned them spots on NPR’s Tiny Desk and Saturday Night Live.

They made their Australian headline debut in February 2026, when sold-out underplays and a Laneway Festival run introduced a cult act to a much wider audience. Now, they’re back with two massive performances on the Forecourt.

Teetering between aching tenderness and boiling-over fury, Geese’s live performances are nothing short of transcendent. As observed by NME – “Catch them at this unmissable moment while it lasts, for the pure joy of saying ‘I was there’”.

Event details

Geese’s music feels both historically literate and viscerally of the moment. Sometimes, just sometimes, the hype is justified.

It’s lost on no one that this is one of those “I was there” shows, the time for the most talked about band on the planet to show you what it’s really all about.
