Quay Quarter Sydney

Quay Quarter Sydney is a dynamic new neighbourhood evolving at the gateway to the city in Circular Quay. With the iconic Quay Quarter Tower designed by 3XN of Denmark at its heart, this will become a flourishing harbourside destination, boldly transforming the way we work, live and play. Transforming two city blocks, developer AMP Capital is also restoring two significant heritage wool stores, delivering three residential buildings by Australian architects, creating new laneways and a vibrant cultural hub of shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars…this is where Sydney will step out when it wants to embrace life. The vision is to be a cultural connector with public art, lifestyle and dining experiences linking Quay Quarter to its surrounding cultural places. In 2021 you will witness Quay Quarter Lanes come to life. The completion of the Tower is slated for 2022.

Our strong partnership with Sydney Opera House celebrates Dance Rites as we acknowledge Aboriginal heritage, traditional customs and contemporary culture. Quay Quarter also sponsors the Multidisciplinary Australian Danish Exchange (MADE) by the Opera House program, since the globally significant Quay Quarter Tower is the first major Danish architectural commission in Sydney since Utzon designed the Sydney Opera House. The MADE program allows Quay Quarter to foster cultural relationships between Denmark and Australia, and support the understanding of Danish architect Jørn Utzon and the Utzon Design Principles.
