Intimate, magic encounters with rare species

An intimate tale about our love of the natural world, ARC invites young people to get up close and personal with snow leopards, hammerhead sharks, microbats, elephants, and more, supporting young voices to speak up on matters that affect their world. Explore the natural world of our feathered, furry, and smooth-skinned friends that co-habit our beautiful planet.

Feel inspired to embrace caring for and nurturing our incredible wildlife on our shared planet earth. This latest world premiere by Erth presents intimate, magical encounters with rare and vulnerable species, raising important questions about our relationship with the changing natural world. Explore these rare and exotic animals, as they look unblinkingly to the future, find a place in your heart, and transform the stage before your very eyes! Renowned as innovators of physical and visual theatre for the past three decades, Erth return for their fifth presentation at Sydney Opera House with this bold new work, following successful seasons of Prehistoric World (2021), Dinosaur Zoo (2019), Prehistoric Aquarium (2017) and Dinosaur Zoo (2015).
