Foundations and Trusts

The support of foundations, trusts and private ancillary funds plays a vital role in enabling our most socially impactful programs.

We collaborate with foundations and trusts to deliver transformative programs that align with their priorities and our ambition to be Everyone’s House, creating lasting impact for our community.

To learn more about how we can work with your foundation, please contact Eddie Bernasconi, Foundations and Trusts Manager on 02 9250 7421 or by email at ebernasconi@sydneyoperahouse.com.

Centre for Creativity

We are developing unique curriculum-aligned performances and workshops that use the Opera House’s architecture, engineering and world-class performances on stage to inspire children’s passion for STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) and the arts. Leveraging our Centre for Creativity – a multi-purpose onsite hub for learning – we are expanding our education engagement strategy to reach more students onsite and online.

Career Pathways in the arts

In line with our ambition to be Everyone’s House, we are implementing a Career Pathways Program with a focus on supporting communities who experience barriers to employment in the arts, including: First Nations people; people with disability; people from refugee and migrant communities; women in traditionally male-dominated industries; and people who are culturally and linguistically diverse and/or marginalised.
