The future of transforming space through collaborative design
In dialogue with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 – QUALITY EDUCATION, futurist Claire Marshall moderates a conversation with architect Fiona Young and artists David Haines and Joyce Hinterding about how the creative design of space can facilitate new ways of learning. In consideration of both physical and virtual space, how can new ideas be shared through our surroundings and how can immersive or embodied spaces change the way we learn about the world around us?
Tonight’s guests each transform space through collaborative design practices, and facilitate new ways of learning and engagement in radically creative ways. Architect Fiona Young of Hayball co-designs learning spaces with both students and teachers contributing new thought into the area of tactile and experimental learning inside and outside of the classroom. Artists Joyce Hinterding and David Haines create immersive environments where audience become participants and experience the often unseen energies and forces of the universe.
The conversation with panellists and audience will be moderated by Claire Marshall , award-winning creative, academic and experiential futurist.
