Australian Poetry Slam (APS) invites you to clear out cobweb memes. Ignore that wrinkled cushion begging your bum to curl into your couch. Be spellbound by the nation’s top 16 spoken-wordsmiths reflecting the spotlight off their chests, igniting every mind in the room. 

APS is the home of stories told bold, vulnerable and alive. The stage is set. The audience is gathered. Catch writers who electrify you. 

Choose the 2026 Slam-bassador to represent spoken word at international festivals in 2027. Tell our leaders to step aside. From today, Poets Run This!
