Star Stories by Jazz Money

  • Workshops

Every star has a story. What’s yours?

What if you could make a star map of your own life?

Whether or not we can see them, the stars are always there, twinkling in the sky above us. They gather into patterns and form constellations connecting distant points. Each one has a place in the bigger picture.

Imagine the distant galaxies shining above the Sydney Opera House where it stands on Tubowgule, the Gadigal land where people have gathered and shared stories for thousands of years. Inspired by the sky above us, what tales can you tell through the stars?

In this creative play activity, imagine your own constellations using stars, words, pictures and patterns. Map the journey from home to school, connect the people you love, or create a constellation inspired by a special place or memory.

Your sky is yours to create.
