Audio Described Performance

The Audio Description is a spoken word commentary describing the physical, visual, and textural aspects of the production, interwoven with the references to Cultural underpinning of the Stories being told. Audio description is relayed via a free receiver which you can collect from the foyer when you arrive at the theatre. We request that you arrive 20 to 30 minutes before the performance starts.
Prior to the performance, ticket holders (and/or carer companions) will receive, via email, a short recording plus written document describing sections of the production that cannot be audio described during the performance due to cultural protocols and/or sections of loud music, vocals, or sound.
Please note that this production contains elevated sound levels, haze, smoke effects and voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who have passed.
Running time: 55 minutes, no interval

The gilded set stands alongside over 300 bespoke costumes, wigs and fairy wings, designed by the award-winning Gabriela Tylesova.
