Artists for Peace

23 December 2023

In the Utzon Room

In these extraordinary times, two remarkable musicians, of two Abrahamic traditions come together, to share something incredibly special. Something that can only be experienced in the beauty of their music making.

When a concert leaves you feeling excited and energised for hours afterwards, you know it was an exceptionally good one.

Len Power

A powerful performance that will inspire all…

‘We are two musicians, two people, who happen to be Muslim and Jewish. We want to share our experience of not just coexisting, but of being in complete harmony. We are about human connection. Music has always been about breaking down barriers and coming together. Especially during the Festive Season.

We feel deeply, all that is going on in the world and we want to inspire everyone to the radical and rebellious idea that there is a way, apart from hate and fighting. That is a way, of Peace and Love.’

The two artists will perform masterpieces, including Schumann’s Dichterliebe, Ravel’s Two Traditional Hebrew Melodies, the extravagant Shéhérazade, Martin’s Ragamuffin and more…

The event is supported by Sydney West Furniture Repairs.

Presented by Ayse G Shanal
