A celebration of groundbreaking new directions, local voices, and bold musical risk-taking, New Now is Omega Ensemble’s annual showcase of emerging compositional talent.

Developed through a nine-month professional and creative mentorship, New Now presents four world premiere works from rising stars selected through the CoLAB: Composer Accelerator Program. In 2025, the performance features music by Alexandra Mison (QLD), Oliver Cameron (NSW), Callum O'Reilly (WA) and Cassie To (NSW). Now in its fifth year, previous showcases have quickly sold out with packed audiences of notable industry and enthusiastic music lovers alike.
