  • Centre for Creativity

    The Centre for Creativity is a purpose-built home for hands-on creative experiences. The centre is home to our children, families and creative learning program, along with new and expanded programming including STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) and other initiatives.     Experience stunning harbour views and outdoor performances at Forecourt, one of Sydney Opera House’s iconic venues. The Forecourt offers the largest capacity of any Opera House venue and has hosted a number of large-scale concerts including Florence and the Machine and Crowded House as well as welcoming international icons such as Oprah.

    The Drama Theatre is one of our more intimate theatre venues located in the north-western corner of the Sydney Opera House. Home to Sydney Opera House Resident Companies, the Drama Theatre is rarely available for commercial hire.

  • Concert Hall and Joan Sutherland Theatre Bars

    Concert Hall and Joan Sutherland Theatre Bars are the place to meet with friends and family before a show. Enjoy refreshing drinks from the premium beverage list including all Australian wines, sip on a cocktail and snack on the delicious and convenient food options, whilst taking in some of the best views of Sydney Harbour. Please note that drinks and refreshments purchased at our theatre bars must be consumed in the designated foyer spaces and cannot be taken into venues unless otherwise advised.
