Join us at an open rehearsal and watch as a Sydney Symphony Orchestra performance takes shape in front of your eyes

Come behind the scenes as Chief Conductor Simone Young prepares the Orchestra, Sydney Philharmonia Choirs and this world-class cast of soloists to perform Mendelssohn’s powerful oratorio Elijah

Take your seat in the Lower Circle and see for yourself the meticulous preparation required to realise this magnificent work. Listen as the music is taken apart, examined and put back together again and marvel at the interweaving of scores of instruments and voices.

Numbers are limited – book now to avoid disappointment.

Please note this is a working rehearsal. Repertoire and duration are at the discretion of the conductor.

Presented by Sydney Symphony Orchestra
