Bankstown Poetry Slam is proud to present the 2025 Grand Slam featuring Nikita Gill.

Australia's largest live poetry event comes to the House

"Incredible". "Heart-warming". "Tremendous". Get ready to click your fingers, stomp your feet and cheer at the top of your lungs at the biggest live poetry event of the year in Australia! Presented by award-winning community arts organisation Bankstown Poetry Slam, the Grand Slam is an unmissable spectacle of dazzling wordplay and lyrical dexterity. 

This one time only event is a competitive showcase of over thirty of Western Sydney's best spoken word poets who have been placed into random teams of four. After battling their way to the top during Bankstown Poetry Slam's highly competitive 2024 season, this inspiring event will see these fiery wordsmiths face off across two exhilarating rounds, followed by a feature set by the inimitable Nikita Gill in this first and exclusive Australian performance.
