NAIDOC Week (National Aboriginal and Islanders Day Observance Committee) occurs annually in July, to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. This year, we invite you to join us for a free keynote presentation in the Utzon Room with Corey Tutt.

Corey, a proud Kamilaroi man was named NSW Young Australian of the Year in 2020 and a Human Rights Hero by the Australian Human Rights Commission. As a young person, Corey developed a love of STEM subjects, however, learnt earlier on that schools in regional and remote areas were under-resourced. Determined to see this change he founded DeadlyScience; a charity that provides STEM resources to schools.  Come along to hear more about Corey’s personal journey, as well as his journey starting DeadlyScience.

This is a family friendly event and tailored from primary aged audiences up until adults. So please feel welcome to bring your children along.
