“Love passed, the Muse appeared, the weather of mind got clarity new-found; now free, I once more weave together emotion, thought, and magic sound.” Alexander Pushkin

Experience a transcendent evening where the "Sun of Russian Poetry" meets the sublime melodies of the masters. This concert, presented by soprano Ayşe Göknur Shanal and pianist/conductor Natalia Raspopova, celebrates the enduring legacy of Alexander Pushkin, whose rhythmic verses provided the heartbeat for Russia’s greatest musical treasures.

From the sweeping romanticism of Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff to the vivid, folk-inspired tapestries of Rimsky-Korsakov and Glinka, witness how Pushkin’s tales of love, fate, and folklore were transformed into soaring arias and dramatic scores.

Featuring a rare glimpse into Shostakovich’s modern interpretations, this performance weaves together "emotion, thought, and magic sound" for an unforgettable tribute to the poet who taught music how to speak.
