Join Maas Theatre and Dance, the largest theatre and dance company for children and young people in the Netherlands, for an artist development workshop coinciding with their Sydney Opera House season of BullyBully.

Everything begins with movement!

Join MAAS Theatre and Dance company from the Netherlands for a fun and active workshop exploring physical approaches to building characters and theatre performance for the stage. 

With a background in mime training, the performers from BullyBully will take you through a series of exercises to create visually memorable characters for the stage. You will explore how the combination of movement, space and image can affect an audience, and how to play with the postures, actions and movements of the human body and your own personal style to exploit the potential of the theatrical context. 

This workshop is suitable for emerging, mid and senior-level artists interested in physical and devised theatre for all ages. Your ticket is for both a place in the workshop and to see the performance BullyBully.
