Celebrating the voices of NSW students

The In Concert series returns to the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall, showcasing the extraordinary musical achievements of students from NSW public schools.

This annual concert series features a massed choir of secondary students drawn from schools across the state, performing alongside the NSW Public Schools Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Jazz Orchestra and Singers.

The 2026 series features acclaimed Australian musical theatre performer Lucy Durack as guest artist. Best known for originating the role of Glinda in the Australian production of Wicked, Durack has appeared in numerous leading musical theatre roles across Australia.

Bringing together hundreds of young musicians on one stage, In Concert is one of the major performing arts experiences delivered by The Arts Unit, NSW Department of Education.
