Take your seat at the table as four of Australia’s most established and celebrated chefs who helm the kitchens at the Opera House showcase their culinary excellence. Chefs Danielle Alvarez, Peter Gilmore, Matt Moran and Mark Olive will each host a series of dinners in one of the Opera House’s most exclusive, hidden spaces. During this intimate shared-table experience, you’ll be personally guided through the distinct food philosophy and menu of the chef while visual projections and live performances complement each chef’s unique theme.

Having always persisted in his passion for his culture and promoting the significance of native Australian produce, Mark has carefully curated an intimate evening that will showcase his personal food philosophy through a thoughtfully curated menu, visual projections, and a live performance by First Nations duo, Marimayi.
Peter Gilmore: The Icons of Bennelong

Peter Gilmore presents The Icons of Bennelong. Committed to using Australia's best produce, Peter has curated an exclusive menu of classic, beloved Bennelong dishes through the years using ingredients from some of Australia's best producers. Visual light projections will illuminate the space and jazz artists from Bennelong Presents will perform live.
Matt Moran: Ocean to Table

Matt Moran presents Ocean to Table. Taking inspiration from Australia’s vast coastline and the importance of food origin and sustainability, Matt has carefully curated an intimate evening that will showcase his sustainable food philosophy through an exclusive menu while visual projections based on Dr Fiona Hillary's Reverberating Futures masterwork will illuminate the space.

As an ode to the art of seasonal gastronomy, join Danielle as she takes you on a culinary journey of dishes featuring seasonal ingredients directly sourced from local small farms and producers while Lux String Quartet perform throughout the evening.

Food and drink have been part of the Opera House story even in Jørn Utzon's early concepts. In this free exhibition we take a look back into our archives to see how the places, palettes and prices have evolved over the past five decades.
